The Tetrapleura Tetraptera plant locally known as Aridan in the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria and Prekese in Ghana, is an aromatic plant, native to West Africa and mostly found in Nigeria and Ghana. 
It as used in alternative medicine for many gynaecological conditions including fibroid.
It is used as a spice in soups and other delicacies, also widely use in soap making and other cosmetics. 
Traditionally, it is used to made soup for a new mother after childbirth. It is thought to aid healing and recuperation after birth.
Depending on the sizes of the pods, each 200g pouch contains 4-7 organic fruit pods.
